Operations Manager
Locations: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performance of all terminals
- Providing guidance, support and training to terminal managers
- In conjunction with Sales team, provide exemplary service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Cultivate business opportunities among existing and potential customers
- Develop systems and procedures that drive consistent application of day to day operational requirements
- Develop Operating budgets and ensure proper financial monitoring
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Drive a safety first culture
- Other duties as required
Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills:
- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of seven years direct transportation experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated people management skills
- Must enjoy a fast pace
- Must be proficient with MS Office
