Fleet Manager
Locations: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, confirm and dispatch all loads
- Manage productivity of your fleet, ensuring appropriate level of miles and revenue is generated by each individual Owner Operator and Driver while taking into consideration strict Hours of Service management
- Efficiently manage the maintenance program and ensure compliance on all safety documentation
- Professionally handle and manage any and all issues raised by Owner Operators and Drivers
- Coordinate with Customer Service on all commitments i.e. Volumes to meet and exceed the needs of our customers
- Promote and support all safety initiatives when performing roles and responsibilities
Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills:
- Completion of a post secondary degree or diploma
- Experience in Bulk Transportation is a definite asset
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Will be energetic, enthusiastic, and team oriented
- Exceptional organization, decision making and problem solving abilities
- Strong Computer skills
- Must be committed to quality, safety and service
