PIP, C-TPAT & FAST
RST is committed to the safety and security of our employees, the customers we serve, and the general public.
Our security program is designed to ensure the highest standard of safety and security at all levels of the manufacturing and transportation process—from our suppliers, within our own manufacturing plants and all along the supply chain to the customer. We work in partnership and cooperation with United States and Canadian Customs organizations to achieve this goal.
To enhance supply chain security and demonstrate compliance with HM232 regulations on Hazardous Materials Transportation in the United States, RST has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Partners in Protection (PIP), a Canada Customs program. We also have fulfilled the requirements of the Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.
In conjunction with these programs, our drivers are approved for FAST – Free and Secure Trade. The FAST program identifies RST as a low risk carrier with high security standards in place.
RST also participates in the ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) where through our on road technology we can ensure your goods get across the border securely.
